ZOMBURG opens in beta on August 28—with customizable characters, deeper shelter progression, harsher raids, quests, crafting, new dogs, clothing, music, and more.

Survivors, the next chapter of ZOMBURG is almost here. ZOMBURG launches on FiveM with one date to remember:
- Open Beta — Friday, August 28, 2026 at 6:00 PM Pacific Time. Test the new systems, push them to their limits, and help us prepare the final build.
The countdown on the ZOMBURG homepage converts the launch time to your local timezone. When Open Beta begins, the Play Now link will appear automatically.
FiveM Enhanced is already live. If that is your version of GTA V, you can play ZOMBURG Enhanced now.
A Deeper Shelter, a Harsher City
The Open Beta introduces meaningful progression and a more demanding survival loop.
- Room upgrade progression: improve shelter rooms over time and turn every successful raid into lasting progress.
- Loot worth fighting for: the most valuable resources are harder to find, so every extraction matters.
- More aggressive infected: zombies react faster, pressure harder, and punish careless movement.
- More quests: every NPC has work for you, alongside larger story quests that pull you deeper into ZOMBURG.
- Crafting-driven survival: crafting now sits at the center of progression, with many more recipes, materials, and reasons to bring resources home.
- Fully customizable characters: registration now includes complete character customization, so you can shape your survivor before entering the city for the first time.
More Voices, More Sound, More ZOMBURG
The city has never sounded this alive. NPCs now have far more fully voiced dialogue, backed by a huge collection of custom sounds and new original music. Conversations carry more character, shelters feel busier, and every dangerous trip beyond the gates has a stronger identity.
Your Character, Your Style, and Your Dog
Your survivor should feel like yours from the very beginning. The new registration flow lets you create a fully customizable character before entering ZOMBURG. The Open Beta also brings many more dog breeds and a much wider clothing collection—from tiaras and jackets to boots and everything between them.
Join during the Open Beta wave and we will grant a free Halo for your chosen starter dog. Pick your first companion, enter the city during beta, and the reward is yours.
